She appears to have had a black or dark brown hull, with white paddle boxes. The cottoncladding would be light brown/sand coloured with white cotton showing at the edges of the bales..

CSS Mississippi

CSS North Carolina (HMS Skorpion) and CSS Mississippi (HMS Wivern)
The detail of these vessesls is based upon their colours whilst in Royal Naval service, which was probably the same as their colours had they been delivered.

Hull - Black with a White line parallel to the top of the raised bulwarks
Deck - Light Oak
Turrets, Stacks and Pilot House/Conning Tower - White
Bulkheads of Fwd and Aft sections - White
Masts and Spars - Black
Inside of Bulwarks - White

CSS Selma
Contemprorary drawings show this vessel as being painted black at Mobile Bay, possibly with some white fittings.
